After pulling a good 20 pieces out, the 55,000 Dresses Collection mystery bag was still REALLY hefty!

In this part of the haul are some of my favorites including a Lydia Deetz-esque red mesh number, a dreamy paatel cotton floral, and a beautiful cream ribbon-lace & sequin dress. 🤩

Part 2 ✌🏽revealing 10 more pieces of the 60ish pound mystery bag we got from the 55,000 Dress Collection!

If you were following along our stories, we happened to be last minute homecoming dress shopping with my teen on a Thursday, to no avail. I opened this bag the following Friday. She found one she loved so we soaked, washed, and hung it to air dry that day. Saturday morning we steamed the heck out of it and was ready to go for the night! 💃🏽

You can see the one she chose in the video as the “black & blue, rhinestone, lace situation” 😆 I like to think it was kismet - because it also fit her perfectly!

My personal favorites from this set are the burgundy velvet & green poofy sleeves. 😍 & I want to keep one of these black skirts to add as a staple to my closet!

I FINALLY OPENED MY 60 POUND MYSTERY BAG FROM THE 55,000 DRESSES SALE! 👀

& this is just the beginning!

The story behind this sale is the story of Mr. & Mrs. Brockman. They were ballroom dancers, and Mr. Brockman began collecting dresses so that his sweetheart never had to repeat a dress. Decades later, she has yet to wear a dress twice and he amassed a collection of 50s to Y2K dresses that landed him a Guinness World Record!

@lisagraystone is the sustainable stylist who writes, curates, and sells for the collection. In the past few years they’ve sold 2 containers of dresses and are currently selling the very last. The goal is to keep them out of the landfill and into others’ closets for new life and creativity!
